Whiskers and Lace is FOR Prop 8
I recently received an email from one of my friends on myspace.com. Whiskers and Lace is a website that sells plus size/bbw (big beautiful woman) lingerie and sexy costumes.
The myspace is labeled as “male” and their website is http://www.whiserkerandlace.com/
This “man” messaged me this; “you are way beautiful but you need to vote yes on 8 please”. WHAT?! I was completely flabbergasted that anyone would have the nerve to message me about this. My only thought was that he had no idea I was a lesbian. Even so, it was completely inappropriate and insulting. Let’s just say my response was nothing less than colorful.
So I ask of our LGR readers to boycott this website and tell any other BBW friends you have to never shop through this website either.

I’m a CHRISTIAN and I’m voting NO on 8.
Why?
Because it seems that all the funding has come from false Christian groups like ROMAN CATHOLICS and “MORMONS” both of whom are idolaters (worshiping Men, Mary, beads, little statues of saints, etc).
IDOLATRY is a worse sin. Voting yes on 8 supports idolatry.
I appreciate your support in voting NO on Prop 8, even though your reasoning confuses me. Thanks for voting NO!
Californians who also identify as Americans should vote NO on Prop 8 because the 14th amendment assures ALL Americans to equal access. Another reason to vote NO on Prop 8 is because it’s the right thing to do. Liberty and Justice for ALL!

Ahhh we have a Mormon on a mission… Summer I read the post on your blog… can’t say I agree with a word of it…. You are a Mormon for Christs sake, there are a lot of people out there who don’t like you because of that fact just as much as they don’t like me for being gay.
Hate is hate girl and being gay unlike being a Mormon is NOT a choice.
So true. I truly believe for a lot of people being gay is not a choice. (I also know some very immature attention-getters who were gay for the five minutes it took to get a rise out of their parents- ha.)

And I will tell you I don’t agree with your church trying to force its will and beliefs on me by weight of secular law…
Prop 8 is an issue of the separation of church and state… and you know it is, because your objection to gay marriage are based on religion.
I will make you a deal… I will keep my gayness out of your church which I do not pay for and do not support, and you keep your religion out of my government… which I do.
