Arizona to hold Vigil

On election day Arizona passed Prop 102 which stated marriage is between a man and a woman.

On Monday, November 10th a vigil will be held from 6-8pm on the corners of Camelback Ave and Central Ave in Phoenix. The organizers are clear in their purpose

As you know Tuesday was a sad day for Arizona, and the feeling that rushed through every GLBT and straight ally in Arizona was one of sadness, despair and ultimate frustration. We need to do something about this, and now. There is no time like the present; we need to infuse the hope back into Arizona.

We need to remind ourselves and Arizona that when your belief is strong and your purpose just, no obstacle can stand in your way. It is time to get back up, shake it off, and work even harder for equality.

We will not allow this amendment to weaken us, instead we will just reach deep inside and find the steady resolve to overcome and continue to move closer to EQUALITY for all people!

 If you are in the Phoenix area please come and pass the information on to your LGBT and straight friends and ask them to join you to show that Arizonans are still going to fight for equaity.
