Well, the folks are at it again. They are teaming up with the Civil Rights Front’s Project Postcard Campaign to remind President-Elect Obama of his promises to the LGBT community, including the repeal of DOMA and DADT, expanding Hate Crimes Statutes as well as many others.

As a community, since the election on November 4th, we have come together in unprecedented numbers across the country to fight for our rights. We have protested in the streets night after night across the country to repeal the 4 anti-gay initiatives that passed this election. Now many of us are looking for more ways to organize and keep the momentum. Here is one way to get involved.

They say that government officials weigh correspondence they receive on the amount of time prepared to create and send it. Postcards are the ideal compromise of snail mail and email.

We need to keep our issues in the forefront of President-Elect Obama’s mind, so don’t send just one postcard, the Civil Rights Front is suggesting to send one a week or have a postcard party.

There couldn’t be an easier way to make a difference! There is no excuse not to send your postcard today!
