The Civil Rights Movement of the 21st Century

There are people trying to stop this movement. People who want to discriminate against us is just one group. The other group is people inside our movement who are pointing fingers at a group and demonizing it.

The 21st century cannot be stopped.

The floodgates have opened and we will not go back.

Look at these protests America, and learn this:

The homosexual community represents EVERY race, religion, and creed in this country. In fact, the LGBT community is an exact microcosm of these United States.

People say that we are not a legitimate minority because homosexuality is an act or a choice. These people are wrong. It is as silly and disgusting as discriminating against someone for something so insignificant as the color of their skin.

America has no race, nor religion. The LGBT community has none either. America is built simply on an idea. We are the first nation in human history to not be defined by a specific race or heritage. Our movement is built on this idea, love for this country, and all her citizens.

The 21st century will not be like the last. We will not be a nation divided. We will come together and in one voice demand that we can do better, and be better people. This will be a century of hope, compassion, and equality for every American of every creed, ethnicity, and dream.

It will happen because you will make it happen.
