Rick Warren’s “News & Views” Blog

Warren has a blog, and yesterday he left a video for his Saddleback family.

Well, the gist of Warren’s words were: Bloggers are hateful and rude and need to get a life. Warren, does that go for both Etheridges which blogged FOR you?

It also seems like Warren is blaming the media and the bloggers for causing this uproar.

Ummmm, how about your words that came out of your mouth?

He said in this vlog that he does not believe that it is equated to pedophilia or incest. He said he has never taught that, but that from the interview in question he was stating he is opposed to gays using the word “marriage”. He said that he was not saying it was the same thing…

UMMMM, THE INTERVIEWER ASKED YOU: DO YOU THINK THEY ARE EQUIVALENT? YOUR RESPONSE WAS “OH, I DO”.

Well, now Warren says that he is trying to change the world so that we go for the common good, I’m with you too. You know how that starts Warren? By admitting your errors. You don’t try to back peddle when there is a video out there and your own face, mouth and voice is spewing what you are trying to now denounce as saying.

The great thing about this vlog from him, he stated that “God has never made a person that He didn’t love”. But, I wonder, if Warren is thrown under fire for this comment, will he state he has never said this? Will he state he used the wrong words?

I’d really appreciate a public apology from Warren, then I might actually start to believe him (emphasis on might)–this backpeddling and getting Melissa Etheridge “on his side” is most certainly not enough for me.
