You can’t reason with a suicidal person. The capacity for reason is gone; all they are thinking about is escaping life. The questions they always ask in the ER are: do you want to kill yourself, do you have a plan, and do you have the means to carry out that plan? That is how suicidality is gauged.
I would just ignore all these people trying to give instructions about what to do when you’re suicidal. They mean well but they have no idea what they’re talking about. You can either talk to your psychiatrist about changing/upping your meds, go impatient or try to end it. You’ve probably grown weary of the last one, so just go impatient for a few days to get your meds straightened out. Unless you have a fear of being stigmatized (you have already been stigmatized). Give yourself a chance before you give up.

and Yet Another Sad Suicide to report…

“DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. – A DeKalb County mother discovers her fifth grade son dead. He used a belt to hang himself from a bedroom closet. The family said the boy was bullied by classmates.

The family of 11-year-old Jaheem Herrera is highly critical of Dunaire Elementary school officials. They said they repeatedly complained about harassment, but nothing was done.”
