Prop 8 Decision To Be Announced Tuesday May 26

prop8candlemarch_1531The California Supreme Court has just announced that it will give the decision on whether Prop 8 is valid on Tues May 26th. There had been many rumors that the decision would have come yesterday on the anniversary of the White Night Riots. When the announcement didn’t come rumors began to fly that Mayor Gavin Newsome asked that the decision not be made on that anniversary.

Instead the decision will be read Tuesday but we are told today,on  Harvey Milk’s birthday. While many say the decision will not go our way maybe it’s a good omen that the Supreme Court let us know today. Maybe Harvey will bring us some luck.
