The Summer of Swine Flu Propaganda?

Sound familiar? Its funny how we keep hearing about the flu of 1918, but the fact that this has all already happened as recently as 1976 is completely glanced over. Expect to see plenty of adds like this over the summer as we enter the fall and see if the DHS and WHO claims that this is “the greatest crisis humanity has ever faced” come true.

Propaganda has a specific term for this, as listed here in wikipedia:

” * Testimonial Propaganda

Testimonials are quotations, in or out of context, especially cited to support or reject a given policy, action, program, or personality. The reputation or the role (expert, respected public figure, etc.) of the individual giving the statement is exploited. The testimonial places the official sanction of a respected person or authority on a propaganda message. This is done in an effort to cause the target audience to identify itself with the authority or to accept the authority’s opinions and beliefs as its own.”

Would you use an NFL star for this? Well they did in ‘76.

Adds like this seem to be directed at children, especially. Why else use NFL players? To make healthy tough guys take the vaccine too.

Vaccine maker recieves seed, was the cheery title of the msnbc article letting us all know how great it is that Sanofi Pasteur has been given the job of making the vaccine. Nowhere in the article does it mention the charge of manslaughter filed against the company in France. As the world’s leading influenza vaccine manufacturer,  Sanofi Pasteur produces approximately 40 percent of the influenza vaccines distributed worldwide, and in the U.S. produced more than 45 percent of the influenza vaccines distributed for the 2008-2009 influenza season. (Fluzone® Influenza Virus Vaccine). Why mention that they’re on trial for killing people with the vaccines they sell? From 1994 to 1998, almost two thirds of the French population and almost all newborn babies were vaccinated against hepatitis B, and now they are under criminal investigation for hiding the fact that the vaccine caused serious side effects.

This is the company that put out a research report, they sponsored, saying that the elderly should be given up to four times the average dose of the flu shot. Now how in the world does it make sense to take a “scientific” recommendation like this from the guy who’s selling the junk to you? Of course they want to sell four times as much, why wouldn’t they? KA-CHING! I mean let’s get on the ball here people, something is not right. Oh, and here’s a link to a pdf file that can show you that at least as late as 2007, they admit in their own report that “Safety and effectiveness have not been established in pregnant or lactating women, and in pediatric and geriatric populations”.

Still no mention of that as production, and use all keeps surging forward: “Sanofi Pasteur, the vaccines division of sanofi-aventis Group, provided more than 1.6 billion doses of vaccine in 2008, making it possible to immunize more than 500 million people across the globe.”

Now they’re announcing the vaccine for the swine flu 2009 will be available in October. And what do you know, they also provide helpful articles letting you know its not too late for your summer flu shots. Pumping up the fact that suddenly all the flu shots will expire on June 30th. Oh better rush out and get them fast! Sure the flu dies in the summer anyway, but why not get a “shot of protection”?

Also from the msnbc article:

“People recommended to have flu vaccinations include children aged 6 months to 18 years, people older than 50, pregnant women, health care workers and people with underlying health conditions such as asthma, heart disease, kidney disease and blood or metabolic disorders, including diabetes.” Wait a second, isn’t that exactly the group I mentioned earlier that is NOT proven to be even safe to take the damn stuff? The words ORWELLIAN, DoubleThink, and DoubleSpeak come to mind.

Notice how there is no mention of the DANGEROUS effects Tamiflu has also been reported to have on teens and adolescents. NO MENTION of how tamiflu has been declared unsafe for minors in Japan after a rash of insane suicides terrified the people: “The Japanese government says 54 people have died while taking the drug. Fifteen people aged between 10 and 19 have jumped from buildings, and another ran into traffic, while taking Tamiflu.” Google fluzone, and you’ll see on the first like, ten links that pop up the first thing they say is “influenza is much more dangerous than the vaccine.” Well isn’t that saying its a dangerous vaccine right out? You may also come across this article about the warning letter sent to Pasteur in 2006 by the FDA.

In ‘76, Forty-five million people were inoculated, but the government abandoned its mass vaccination effort after 10 weeks. 500 people developed “rare” side effects of an autoimmune disease. It lead to paralysis in many, and about 25 deaths were associated with the vaccination. And now Kathleen Sebelius is announcing in the Wall Street Journal that we’re going to spend 1Billion dollars on vaccine contracts. “The money, which comes from funds already set aside for pandemic influenza, will fund new and existing contracts with influenza vaccine makers such as Sanofi Aventis SA, GlaxoSmithKline and Novartis… The funds will pay for the production of a pilot H1N1 vaccine that would be used for clinical tests this summer to help determine how much active ingredients are needed in each individual vaccine and the best dosing likely to offer protection against the new H1N1 influenza strain.”

I wonder who they’re going to be testing this on? How is it that they can jump from seed, through animal lab tests, and all the way up to humans safely in tests before October? Am I wrong to think this is ridiculous, and that it would be impossible to ensure that the shot was safe? I don’t think so.

Be ready for the summer, because they’ve got a lot of vaccine to sell. The propaganda is going to be intense, so please take the time to stop, think, ask questions, and research what is actually best for your family, and not some already filthy rich corporate shills.
