Politicians are not embracing the reality and the logistics involved in repealing DADT. One example (there are many...). Consider this. At any one of many deployed sites, why must I, a straight male, share a large, mens shower facility with openly gay men? I find this as objectionable as the Soldiers in the womens showers would find MY presence. And what is the difference? So, will we discriminate against Straight Soldiers by having only mens and womens shower facilities? Or, will we solve this issue by establishing 4 sets of shower facilities (straight men, gay men, straight women, lesbians)? Perhaps the solution (to be fair) is one shower facility for all genders and sexual persuasions? Do you get the picture? It gets a lot more complicated for us in the military than for all of you at home. And where on Earth does Woods get his bogus "Fact" that 70 % of Americans want DADT repealed?! Ridiculous!
