11/04/09-by Bridgette P. LaVicoire
325px-Seal_of_Maine.svgLawrence O’Donnell was filling in Kieth Olbermann on Countdown the day after election day. He had author Dan Savage on to discuss the results from the election. One of the biggest points that was made in the night was how the people in Washington State attempting to put an end to expanded Domestic Partnerships were using the same tactics as the people in Maine were to veto marriage equality. This is, of course, despite claiming that they are not against gays and lesbians having equal rights, just not being able to call it marriage.
