In Maine, they actively participated by raising funds for the anti-marriage measure. Besides, the bill already states that Federal funds cannot be used to obtain an abortion; however, the Stupak Amendment goes well beyond that. This will effectively block women from using their own personal funds to purchase an insurance plan with abortion coverage." They can only encourage their members to legally lobby their own representatives to support their beliefs. This is the right of all American citizens and not just those who support your opinions.
