Biggest Loser trainer and out bisexual Jillian Michaels is being sued. Michaels started her career as a personal trainer at the age of 17 and since she has appeared on the Biggest Loser, she has skyrocketed to fame as one of America’s top fitness gurus. Michaels has taken that fame and begun to build an empire, she has work-out videos, books, a video game and weight loss supplements. Specifically, she has lent her brand to “Jillian Michaels Maximum Strength Calorie Control” dietary supplements.

The class action suit claims that the dietary supplements are completely ineffective. The suit also named the manufacturer and distributor, Thin Care and Basic Research. Most dietary supplements state that a healthy diet and exercise is also required to ensure the effectiveness of the project. However, Jillian Michaels’ supplements came with no such qualifier.

TMZ was able to speak with the lawyer who filed the suit, Melissa Harnett, who said “Telling people you take two magic pills and then eat chocolate cake all day is a deception.”

The suit asks for an injunction prohibiting the sale of the product, plus damages.

the side of the box clearly says “use in conjunction with a sensible diet and exercise program”

It is hard to believe that Jillian Michaels stated you should “eat chocolate cake all day”. But then again anyone may be sued for any reason in this country. That is why we have liars I mean lawyers. Perhaps Ms. Michaels should consider seeing an attorney after Ms. Harnett’s statement. Sometimes it is best to not say anything in relation to a legal case.
