LOL right…that’s what the poor thing wants. dude, i don’t even like her and now i feel sorry for her. honestly, she’s straight and i respect her sexual identity. men say they can turn lesbians all the time and that’s just as annoying as lesbians saying they can turn straight women.

Such venom from this article and select comments are just b*tchy. As as an overtly masculine butch with a great deal of experience with various kinds of ‘straight girls’ that the way they react to such situations speaks volumes as to where they are in our sliding scale of human sexuality.

A fully hetero female who is only doing such a thing through coercion will just get it over with and shrug it off and assure the general public it ‘isn’t her thing’. There are those who have female “playthings’ in between and many times while with a man.

Note in either situation they are either indifferent or have the attitude of a glorified xes toy.

This girl was terrified during…why? Then goes on to state that she is essentially afraid everyone is going to think she is a lesbian. Sounds like she did a lot more than just ‘kiss a woman’ in this movie. I would place bets that she liked it more than she thought she would and it scared the hell out of her.

I bet the right butch could turn that one.

This seems a little judgemental and harsh to me. I never quite believe those actors who say they had no problem kissing etc someone of the same gender… i think they’re trying hard to be PC. You may not like what Portman has to say but it’s her life and work and she’s just being honest about how she felt. Do you know if she feels the same kissing a male lead, did you check?

Oh spare me Eliza. Cute is “demeaning”? Who decides that?, you and Natalie? That is SO shallow and pretentious. She’s called beautiful, gorgeous, stunning, fantastic and god knows what other complementary words every single day probably being a famous actress and she complains about being called cute? I bet if she had to grow up being put down for her looks, bullied, having her self confidence and self-esteem beaten down and not given the time of day because of it, she’d beg and thrive on being called cute at least once by anyone and appreciate it. That’s yet another air headed remark by her along with all the other quotes. Also “cute is for puppies and children” yeah you don’t sound to bright yourself, just saying. The article doesn’t even mention her signing the petition to free a child rapist or that the economy is a good thing and should be no problem for everyone to get motivated and magically get out there to work lol meanwhile she gets paid millions for playing pretend a couple times a year if even. I’m not jealous and don’t care but rather find it annoying that she doesn’t use the brain that somehow got her through Harvard and say something that doesn’t sound ridiculous once in a while!

Actually, I agree with her that “cute” is a bit demeaning. Cute is for – yes – puppies and children. As nice as it is to see a straight actress not go on and on how wonderful it was kissing a woman and teasing that she could be bi (I think women are beautiful, but, ho ho, I’d never date one! I prefer the strong arms of a man!), Natalie Portman is missing the point.
