As we reported last night, Law & Order SVU released a preview clip of their upcoming episode called “PC”.

There was quite a response and varied opinions on whether or not Olivia’s moment of gay panic was actually homophobic. It would seem, however, that NBC decided the argument isn’t worth it, and has removed the video from their own website, although it is still available on YouTube.

When a fan expressed her disappointment about the tone of the clip on twitter, the executive producer of Law & Order: SVU replied:

@nealbaer that was a total let down hearing about the PC ep & what was said. it’s just dissapointing. And sad.

So we’re all eagerly awaiting the episode where Olivia freaks when a lesbian makes a move on her and proceeds to warn another woman away from the uncontrollable lesbian.

NBC have not released any kind of statement about why the video was removed.
