World Net Daily: Homosexuality should be a capital offense

George Washington would want to kill the gays, says World Net Daily

If you haven’t seen it, watch it now. The video is at the bottom of the post. World Net Daily released this “For the record” video blog about Uganda’s Anti-Homosexuality Bill.

However, World Net Daily has decided that Ugandans have it right in their efforts to rid their country of homosexual acts.  Here is my hurried transcript of the vlog, and my thoughts on it. You can probably guess the gist of it, but read on.

Uganda is poised to pass legislation that would make homosexuality a capital offense, and after a week of merciless taunting from some lesbian chick at MSNBC, Pastor Rick Warren has “vigourously condemned” the Ugandans for even thinking such a thing and has even called their bill “unchristian”.

Oh yeah, I’ll bite. First, the pic they bring up of the “lesbian chick at MSNBC”, Rachel Maddow, is one of my favourites of hers, but it’s a butcher one, and definitely meant to point out how weird we gay people are. That and the attitude most definitely is, “Why would Rick Warren listen to someone so unimportant as a lesbian woman on a liberal television channel?”

I won’t get into whether or not MSNBC is liberal, but that’s their perception.

Now that’s an interesting accusation, especially when you consider that the Bible is where the Ugandans got the idea in the first place. According to the Bible, God created the death penalty, not man. And it was God who determined what crimes deserved it.

Ooooh goody. Here’s where my past life as a born again Christian comes in handy.

Yes, God did decide what offenses deserved death penalties. In fact, most things were capital offenses. There is a pretty damn good list here, but I’m happy to give a summary:

• Careless handling of an animal
• Cursing one’s parents
• Stubbornness and rebellion
• Working on a Saturday
• Ignoring a priest
• Manufacturing oil
• Not being circumcised

etc…

Moving on… (cos this guy’s on to a winner!)

That’s also why our founding fathers also made homosexuality a capital offense.

So unless there’s some passage in scripture that I have missed, where Jesus said, “I have come to abolish the law” then Ugandans are right and Rick Warren is wrong.

I and many others eagerly anticipate World Net Daily’s next feature on compulsory circumcision.

In the 1800s, Uganda was oppressed by an evil, homosexual king, King Mwanga. Mwanga created legislation that required all men in Uganda to submit to his sexual desires if called upon, an executive order that would surely send thrills down Chris Matthew’s leg if issued today. But 22 young catholic men refused Mwanga’s sexual tyranny and were burned alive for it on June 3, 1886. Today, that day is celebrated as a National Holiday when Ugandan families remember the faithful Christians and curse the sodomite king.

True. BUT was his sin so much his homosexuality… or maybe that he was a tyrant, rapist and murderer? How many murderous tyrants have had homosexuals put to death? None? REALLY?

So, this clash is nothing new to Ugandans; it is part of their culture. But Liberals don’t care about their culture. Liberals don’t care about Uganda’s history. Liberals only talk about multiculturalism when it suits their agenda.

Look, it’s the agenda again!
Note to gay agenda people: I haven’t received my updated edition. Is there a delay at HQ?

Politically speaking, Uganda is a sovereign and democratic nation that is free to make its own laws.

Sovereign? Yes. Democratic? Technically, but not very convincingly. I’ve linked at the bottom to my discussion of Ugandan transparency and freedom of the press issues below (on Forth.ie).

They don’t want to kill the homosexuals, they just want them to stop practicing homosexual acts. Now, if Uganda wanted to close the border and hunt down the homosexuals, now that would be terrible, but that’s not the case. If gay Ugandans don’t like the law, they are more than free to leave. So don’t let liberals compare this to Nazi Germany or any other murderous socialist regime for that matter. And don’t think our Founding Fathers wouldn’t support this legislation all the way.

I’m going to leave the founding fathers bullshit alone, because I’m not American, I’ve never lived there and to be honest I could care less if they founding fathers bathed in sweet potato peelings and slept in snowsuits. Also, points for managing to associate socialism with murder.

But there is a huge misdirection here. Yes, the Ugandans DO want to stop gay people having gay sex (that’s the only kind of sex gay people want to have, by the way). But they are going to be hunting down gay people even if they leave Uganda. The bill proposes extradition from foreign countries for the offense of homosexuality.

Homosexuality was a capital offense in 12 of our 13 colonies when the founding fathers were actually crafting the constitution. George Washington himself had a homosexual drummed out of the army for actions he called “abhorrent, detestable”. Governor Bradford had a beastialist executed and buried in the same hole as the defiled animals in our Plymouth colony.

Ah, yes. The gay agenda must have included beastiality in the most recent update, which I am missing.

It’s hard to face it, but Ugandans are making the same decisions that our founding fathers made so very long ago, that we are terrified to touch today.

The great Dr King told us, “The moral arm of the universe is long, but it bends towards justice.”
Ugandans, stay on the right side of history.

Not my area of expertise, but does it really matter if the founding fathers were in favour of killing gay people?
