Melanie Nathan, 11.00 am, PST.  with stakes high for us and  STUPAK  changing vote to yes,  Vote count – amazingly close.   As Democratic Caucus ended, sporadically they locked arms, walked across independence avenue to the House to vote, amidst the screaming crazies.  Speaker Pelosi carrying a gavel, symbolically indicating it was going to happen.  She looked at protesters and unintimidated walked into the House.

I cannot imagine such a bold and profound action unless the VOTES , like the gavel are in hand!

I am shocked at the hold out Democrats who consider their re-election more important than the success of the entire administration – and yes that is looking at it from a political prospective.  Least of all  to mention “for the benefit” of American people.

History is being made.

Viral hate loses again- screaming the ‘N’ word or yelling ‘faggot‘ at Barney Frank will not stop what is right.  Although the Health Care Bill may not be all that we need, its a start and there will be more to come. This can now turn into a great Congress and Administration -

Now on to Comprehensive Immigration reform/ UAFA, the real of DOMA and DADT.  This can happen. Imagine the vote of 5 people left will in essence determine what is going to happen to the rest of legislation – much needed – that will impact the LGBT community so profoundly.
