The Daily Show Compares Politics To Pro-Wrestling

For those who grow tired of the political arena, such as the people who are making up the growing Coffee Party Movement, today’s little tidbit comes straight out of the Daily Show. Jon Stewart took on the recent side changing flip-flopping antics of the Senate over the filibuster. With the help of Senior Ass Kicker and former Pro-Wrestler Mick Foley, Stewart and Wyatt Cenac took on the idea that, in the end, politics is all about theater. At the end, Stewart should have been a bit more careful, and perhaps quoted Philip J. Fry from Futurama when he said “Man, I thought Ultimate Robot Fighting was real, like pro wrestling, but it turns out it’s fixed, like boxing.”
