My take- Get rid of the Queers and the Hispanics and we can then have a 100% REPUBLICAN Vote…. in the State of AZ.  I do not need to go into the far reaching affects of that!

Future Assassin of all minority rights – Arizona Governor Jan Brewer has eliminated state domestic partner benefits a year after they were implemented. Last year, then Governor Janet Napolitano extended the definition of “dependent” to include Domestic Partners when it came to the state providing health benefit coverage. In a supposed effort to save the state money.

Infamous Governor Jan Verwoerd* Brewer quietly signed a law this week redefining what a “dependent” is when it comes to the state’s responsibility for health benefit coverage. Her new “definition” does not include Domestic Partners of the same sex, Domestic Partners of opposite sex nor any of the above’s children aged 23-24 who are full time students or disabled adult dependents of state employees.

The legislation is in legal review. About 800 state employees are affected, according to the state’s administration department…Liz Sawyer, a UA staff member, said the exclusion is ‘deplorable and it’s tragic.’ Sawyer is a spokeswoman for OUTReach, a staff group that lobbies for domestic-partner benefits at UA. Last year 170 UA employees signed up for domestic-partner benefits, she said. Forty were same-sex couples and the remainder were unmarried, opposite-sex couples, she said.”

This action together with the recent signing of SB 1070 – the anti immigrant racial profiling Bill  stinks –

It smells of Brewer seeking her own redefinition – her quest to go down in history with the likes of Hendrik Verwoerd -through  her concerted effort to marginalize minority communities.

It is clear to me that she wants to drive all LGBT out of Arizona and persecute immigrant communities, whether legal or not, clearly in an endeavor to suppress the vote…Get rid of all the latter and you will have averything Republican in the State of Arizona.

Who is Dr. Verwoerd *Architectof Apartheid.

Hendrik Verwoerd is often called the “Architect of Apartheid”^[5] for his role in shaping the implementation of apartheid policy when he was Minister of Native Affairs and then Prime Minister. Verwoerd himself once claimed Apartheid as a “policy of good neighbourliness”.^[6]Afrikaner nationalism was skilfully mobilised by leaders in the theological, political, cultural, economic, agricultural and industrial sectors as well as in government service. A strategy of massive economic development was introduced to make South Africa less dependent on Britain and to create thousands of job opportunities.^{[citation needed]}

Verwoerd realised that the political situation that evolved over the previous century under British rule in South Africa had become untenable. ^[7]

Under the Premiership of Dr. Verwoerd the following legislative acts relating to apartheid were introduced:

• Promotion of Bantu Self-Government Act (1959)
  • This law laid the cornerstone for the classification of black South Africans into eight ethnic groups and their allocation to ‘homelands’. ^[8]
