Lezgetreal has received word that 4 protesters from the group GET EQUAL have taken over John McCain’s senate office in D.C. They have been given the option to leave or be arrested.  Apparently the Equality Across America organization, born out of the National Equality March, has been inspired by Get Equal. According to a few sources trickling out of Phoenix, five activists are staging in a sit in at McCain’s office there.

According to Lezgetreal reporters on site, the activists were arrested even before the Press and Media could make it down there.

Towelroad is saying it’s a GetEqual action and Pam on House Blend… is saying it’s a EAA action…. but perhaps both -

Ranking Republican ASC, McCain is a target  of frustration on many fronts, GET EQUAL activists taking the President‘s words literally when confronting and asking McCain for what the repeal of DADT.

We are receiving reports that the group was cited and released and will have to appear before the Magistrate next week.  No arrests were made!

4:15pm- It has now come to light that neither Get Equal or Equality Across America are behind the current CD at Senator John McCain’s office in DC; rather the 5 are members/founders of HERO in Phoenix.
