Adam Lambert oozes queer sexuality. It has gotten him into trouble in the past, specifically at last year’s AMA awards, where he kissed another man on stage. Because we have to protect the children from ‘the gay.’ Lambert was chastised by both the media and network execs for daring to be sexy. Plently of people have pointed out that this is a double standard, as heterosexual women are allowed to pretend to be lesbians during award shows. It seems like the pressure has finally gotten to poor Glambert.

ET went “behind the scenes” on his new tour. ET asked Lambert if his new tour will be controversial and Lambert basically said, it won’t.

“I think that I’ve found a really great balance of things that have their edginess and they have their sexiness to them, but it’s done in a way where I don’t think it’s going to alienate anybody. It’s kind of just right — it’s right down the middle”

Its not fair that in order to be successful, Lambert has to go down the middle while artists like Lady Gaga get to go to the extreme. But Lambert insists that the tour will still be great, saying:

“When I was putting together the show there was a little bit of pressure and I was a little nervous about it,” he admits, continuing: “The nerves are all gone — and now it’s more excitement. Now it’s like, I can’t wait to show this to everybody. I can’t wait to share this with my fans.”

The “American Idol” alum promises his fans a show they won’t soon forget, with plenty of songs from his album For Your Entertainment and lots of dazzling visuals. “There are nods in there to Boy George, there are nods to Michael Jackson maybe, to ‘The Matrix’… There’s a little something for everybody and it’s all kind of put together in this big melting pot.”

No, it isnt fair that Adam has to go straight down the middle, but he will do what sells tickets here and he will make tons of money. Lets see what happens when he goes to Europe and Asia and Down Under where the average person doesnt give a DAMN about any of this stuff, and they laugh at the “morals” of the States.

No, it’s not fair and I’d love if Adam could just say “Fu** you!” and do whatever He wants but sadly it ain’t work that way… This is stil a homophobic nation where artists like Adam are judged for their sexuality and not for their talent. I admire Adam’s courage and talent and hope one day it’ll be easier for him. If you get the chance, go see his Tour! He is incredible live, even better than his album!
