Cybil Shepherd and her out daughter, Clementine Ford, acted together on “The L Word” as a queer mother-daughter duo. Clementine came out publicly after her brief stint on the show and Cybil, a longtime supporter of LGBT rights, was very happy for her daughter. Clementine Ford is currently in a relationship with former 4 Non Blondes frontwoman Linda Perry.
Now, Ford’s younger sister, Ariel Shepherd-Oppenheim is also going public with her sexuality. The 22 year old brought her girlfriend, Carmen Chambers, with her to the 21st Annual Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Awards in San Francisco, California on June 10th, to watch the comedienne receive the Golden Gate Award. The honour is given to stars in recognition of their work promoting equal rights for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community.
Congrats to Ariel!
