Edward Roland Minnoe IV has been missing since 13 June. He was last seen by roommates and friends at Ziegfeld’s/Secrets nightclub at 1824 Half St., S.W., in D.C. late that night. Police are asking for anyone with information to come forward. Minnoe was reported missing after he did not return to his home in Fredericksburg, VA after attending Capital Pride festivities. The Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office has stated “He was seen speaking with an unknown race male inside the club, and that is the last time he was seen by witnesses. He has not shown up for work as a manager at Petco in the Fredericksburg, Va. area, which is very unusual. Mr. Minnoe was last [seen] wearing a white tank top, plaid brown and blue shorts and flip flops.” He also had a diamond stud in his right ear. His left ear is pierced twice with a gold stud and a gold hoop. He was also wearing a silver “rainbow ring.”

According to Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Capt. Liz Scott, Minnoe chose to remain at the club when his roommates left, and that Minnoe was with a man he met at the club.

Ziegfeld’s/Secrets has been cooperating with authorities. They have vide surveillance of the club, but have not released video or a photo of the man Minnoe was with.

According to the Washington Blade:

The Sheriff’s Office describes Minnoe as a while man, 5 feet 8 inches and weighing 135 pounds. It says he has a tattoo of the name “Luke” on his right leg, a tattoo of a tribal band on his right arm and possibly a tattoo of an Asian dragon on his left upper arm.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Spotsylvania County Sheriffs Office at 540-507-7111.
