Katy Perry Takes a Shot at Lady Gaga

Katy Perry took a much shot at Lady Gaga’s controversial video for ‘Alejandro’ via twitter. She said:
Using blasphemy as entertainment is as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke.
The video for ‘Alejandro’ combines gay erotic with biblical references. So, according to Katy Perry, this is wrong. No one should exploit the bible! That is sacred. But, Katy ‘I kissed a girl and I liked it but not really’ Perry sees no problem with exploiting faux lesbianism for her own career advancement and for entertainment. Everyone remembers the song that put Katy Perry on the map, where she sings about kissing another girl and making her an ‘experimental game’ and not really a human being. Also, she has a boyfriend, teehee, she would never actually be a dirty ugly lesbian! Also, if you kiss a girl, it’s not really cheating because women don’t count for anything! So lesbian sexuality and love = perfectly ok to exploit. Bible, not so much. Thanks for setting the record straight, Katy. Also, everyone loves a good Sarah Silverman fart joke, don’t you dare attack that.

This is exactly my point. Gaga can exploit any type of sexuality but it’s ok because she did a speech at a march, or has half-naked gay men in her videos or on stage…excuse me while I remind you of a double standard…I gay male pop star cannot do any of these things, but Gaga can do it all and exploit at will and have her ass kissed because she is a female pop star that loves her gays. Um, Madonna anyone? Better yet, Christina Aguilera, say what you will, at least Xtina showed two men kissing in her video “Beautiful”. Sounds like your issue is with Katy not being a real lesbian, so what…Gaga kisses and gropes girls in videos, says she is bi but says that she needs a man. How is this different from Katy, Kesha, Xtina, or any other female pop star with gay following? And these girls will never be banned from radio, TV, etc…because that are not gay. You should be pointing this out instead of attacking Katy because she pissed you off with “I Kissed a Girl”. Katy obviously has active Christian beliefs and tweeted as much. A part of me thinks this is planned though, both girls associate with the sad person named Perez Hilton…Publicity never hurts

One can be a Christian and a popstar, I never said they couldn’t. My problem with Katy Perry calling out Lady Gaga is that Perry shouldn’t be aon a high horse about the exploitation of things that people find sacred. Gaga might have exploited the bible but Perry exploited lesbianism. I don’t like the video (or the song) Alejandro either. But the reason Perry chose for attacking it is hypocritical.,

Oh come off it…Katy ahs every right to express her opinion and Gaga is the gay saviour..sick I tell you. Gaga is not original and never will be Madonna. The Gay Community is kissing Gaga’s ass because she panders to them FOR SALES…and she has them…enjoy the performance..its shelf life is not that long. and the video for Alejandro is beyond stupid and I am a Gaga fan.
