Ricky Martin to Make His First Public Appearance Since Coming Out

Ricky Martin will appearing in public for the first time since coming out as a ‘proud gay man’. He will attend the AmFAR Black Tie/Black Leather themed Inspiration gala this Thursday at the New York Public Library. Page 6 reports that Martin will be honored for his philanthropic work. Specifically, with children though his self-named foundation.

Also being honored, Jean Paul Gaultier for his impact on men’s fashion. Kylie Minogue will host, Cyndi Lauper will perform and Estelle will guest DJ as well as release her newest single at the event.

    i wonder if they would continue to honor him if they knew in what way he and his bullies are treating his fans. i was a victim of cyberbulling, libel and defamation of caracter when being a member of ricky martin’s official fan club. i have spoken out publicly after his coming out. here is my article http://www.gather.com/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474978151037
