Latin Patriarch Upset Over Jersualem Pride Parade

Apparently Latin Patriarch Fouad Twal, the Catholic Church’s highest official in the Holy Land, is rather upset over a Pride Parade that occurred in Jerusalem. In a statement, he criticized Israeli authorities for permitting the parade. According to him, “Its organizers and the authorities who allow it, care neither for the feelings of families nor the holiness of this city.” He went on to say that the Israeli LGBT community could have their parade anywhere they wanted, just not in Jerusalem.
