Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin are Gettin’ Hitched

Today in news that will really piss you off, Us Magazine is reporting that Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin are getting married. This isn’t a joke, Palin and Johnston actually spoke to Us about their upcoming nuptials.

“We got engaged two weeks ago,” Bristol, 19, tells Us Weekly. “It felt right, even though we don’t have the approval of our parents.”

Bristol and Levi, 20 — who famously called off their previous engagement two weeks after welcoming son Tripp in December 2008 — tell Us Weekly they reconnected three months ago while working out a custody plan for their 18-month-old son.

“I really thought we were over,” Levi tells Us Weekly. “So when I went, I had no hope. I think we both just started talking — and then we took Tripp for a walk. Says Bristol, “When he left that night, we didn’t hug or kiss, but I was thinking how different it was. He texted me: ‘I miss you. I love you. I want to be with you again’ … I was in shock…It is intimidating and scary just to think about what her reaction is going to be. Hopefully she will jump on board.”

Johnston and Palin are also featured on the cover of the magazine with their baby, Tigger Trigger Jojubi Calvin Klein Landrover John Deere Johnston-Palin. Raise your hand if you think this will end well. This explains Johnston’s bizarre apology a few weeks ago to the Palin family about the horrible things he said about them in interviews. For example, he said that Sarah Palin wears pajamas from WAL-MART! I know, you guys! Awful! Oh and he also said something about how she said she didn’t want the retard baby she wanted the normal baby. But that Wal-Mart thing was totally the money shot.

I wonder if Sarah Palin will still believe in the sanctity of marriage after these two get married and divorced and then probably married and divorced all over again in a dramatic Alaskan love story?
