NOM Believes That Non-White Children Are Not Cute

Apparently, only children born to parents who are opposite sex, and white, are good enough for the National Organization for Marriage. Speaking about a young heterosexual couple with a baby, Maggie Gallagher stated “I spoke with one young couple who showed up with the most adorable baby in tow.” The baby was white, and born to a heterosexual couple.
However, Louis Marinelli stated about a different couple:
“Moving on. There was one couple (one of those bolder couples who came into the rally itself) who were particularly disappointing. The two men decided not to just attend the rally, but they brought a baby with them. Notice I said ‘a baby’ because it isn’t ‘their baby’. It was clearly adopted. They were white the baby was not.”
Hm…so, a white baby born to a white heterosexual couple is alright, but a black baby adopted by a white gay couple is not, nor is their baby cute according to the National Organization for White-Heterosexual-Only-Marriage. There are, of course, several straight white couples who have adopted non-white babies and even older children, and one has to wonder what those children must look like to Maggie Gallagher and Louis Marinelli. Are they not alright because the couple that adopted them did not adopt a white child? Or worse, should they be forced to get a divorce because they were not able to conceive a child of their own?
There are many lesbians who have children via artificial insemination or via adoption. Apparently those children are not cute either, at least to the elitist snobs at NOM.

What are the homosexualists looking for here? Straight white people to get on their knees and start praising homos for intentionally raising a kid without a mom and exposing them to homosexual behavior and beliefs during their entire childhood? Do they want to force white people to say they think other races’ babies are cute once for every time they say a white child is cute?
Homosexualists need to leave straight people alone and not try to make them submit to your politics.

“Homosexualist”? Where do you even come up with these terms? I actually pity you and your limited intellect. People wanting their equal rights and freedom is not pushing anything on you. You and your people assault us every day and try to impose your religion and your beliefs on us. We don’t try to tell you who to love or who to marry. You came after us, even now you are on our web site claiming to be a victim. Mind your own business. If you wouldn’t protest our very existence we wouldn’t have to counter protest to defend ourselves.

Creating more fatherless or motherless families intentionally is a violation of the human right of children. Irresponsible no fault divorce, out of wedlock single parenting and garriage should be illegal.

You have to wonder what these irrational and hateful people would like to see happen if they had their way.
No gay marriage, so does that mean we should live miserable, sad, lonely lives of celibacy? Or we could pretend to be straight and marry a heterosexual person, only to spend the entire marriage wishing we were with someone else and not giving them our whole hearts. Doesn’t that make a victim out of the heterosexual partner? Is that what they want?
The idea that adoptions, and probably especially interracial adoptions, are not legitimate is really alarming. What should happen to those children with no parents? Should we as a society not care for orphans and abandoned children? Should we only allow children to be adopted by heterosexual parents of the same race so people can pretend the adoption didn’t happen? Does anyone think there are as many parents of minority groups and in poor countries able to adopt and provide for children as there are orphans or children that need parenting? Especially in some African countries where orphaned children are in large numbers?
NOM should answer those questions. We get they would like for everyone to be white, straight, christian, and able to procreate, but that is not the reality of life, so what would they have society do? Create more victims, more misery, and just discard human beings? It certainly seems that is their aim.

I think the real story here is that the children of gay and lesbian couples (or even adopted children of straight couples) aren’t really legitimate. Notice how Martinelli carefully points how he didn’t say “their baby” and then follows that gem up with “It was clearly adopted.”
The implication is that adopted children do not belong to the families that took them in. As if children don’t face enough trouble, adding an anti-adoption bias to the mix is just a bit much.
After all, neither of them actually said that they have an issue with non-white babies, but Martinelli flat-out admitted he doesn’t view adoption as legitimate.
