Oh for the love of. . .the National Organization for Marriage Tour was passing through New York when they were cut off by a driver who made a rude hand gesture. Apparently not realizing that this is the norm for New York, Brian Brown took immediate offense at what he was seeing done to him and blamed it on those devious gay marriage supporters without any evidence to back up his assertion what so ever.
New Yorkers are among the most dangerous drivers in the nation, but that does not seem to stop the man who is already convinced that the gays are out to get him from demanding tolerance.
In New York, I have seen people cut off tractor trailers and flipping them off. I have seen it happen on the highway and the turnpike as if it was the norm because, well, it is the norm.
Of course, wait until they get to DC. . .or Atlanta. It’s only going to get worse.
Their recent rallies in New Hampshire and Maine netted very few people, and almost no enthusiasm. Roughly fifty people showed up at both rallies.
The NOM bus supposedly had its tires slashed while on the road as well. Unfortunately, there was no one around to see it happen, and no way, apparently, of knowing just how did it. Of course, blame was put squarely upon some phantom lesbian or gay person.
Thanks to Good As You for bringing this to our attention.

While driving through Fla. last winter, there was a cargo van in front of me. Inching closer, one could tell there were brightly colored photos on the back. Around 100 feet or so, there it was. A graphic, magnified, photo of an aborted fetus 15 feet tall by 8 feet wide ( or a photo shopped image). Just could not fucking believe what my eyes were seeing. After nearly crashing, trying to get around this van, I memorized the phone number written on the bottom of the photo. Later, attempting to call said phone number (not from my cell) it was disconnected. My apologies if this is a tad off topic, however, this story obviously reminded me of that nightmarish experience.

If I saw him I would give him the finger. He deserves it, and so does everyone in his organization. I would also bring an air horn and blast it at his rallies.
This scumbag has played a major role in repealing real marriage rights. He deserves all of the negativity that he has coming to him!
