FOX Lacking In Prop 8 Decision Coverage?
Posted by: Linda Carbonell on August 4, 2010. August 4, 2010 – L. S. Carbonell
This afternoon, while the rest of the media was focusing on the Prop 8 decision, Neil Cavuto was spending his air time doing an “expose” on fraudulent government payments, insisting that the majority of such payments go to corrupt government employees and their families. Two weeks ago, President Obama signed a bill addressing this problem, which are actually called “improper payments”, strengthening the government’s ability to detect these payments before they are made. President Obama listed such payments as defense contracts that had been suspended, payments to dead people, double payments of invoices, etc. Of course, Fox News did not cover the President’s speech or the signing, so it was possible for Cavuto to pretend the law did not exist because Fox News viewers had never heard of it.
I have one question: does Fox News keep a barber on staff to shave these guys so they don’t have to look in the mirror every morning?
