Gay Games Opens In Cologne, Germany

Yesterday, the Gay Games began in Cologne, Germany. While it is occasionally known as the Gay Olympics, that name is not allowed by the International Olympics Committee. It is not the only event to have run afoul of the IOC. Odyssey of the Mind was originally known as Olympics of the Mind.
