In Meet The Press Extra, Admiral Mullen Discusses Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell Briefly

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Michael Mullen appeared on Meet the Press today. In a web extra, Mullen and David Gregory discussed further the Wikileaks documents, many of which have outed American informants within the Taliban. They also, towards the end of the segment, discussed Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. The discussion begins about five minutes into the video. According to Mullen “Well, the review is ongoing and the part that we’re in right now is the survey, which I think is really important because it will be the first objective data on this subject.”
