Lady Gaga Does Cocaine ‘A Couple of Times a Year’

In an interview with Vanity Fair Lady Gaga admitted that she still uses cocaine occassionally. The bisexual superstar says that she uses coke a “couple of times a year” but emphasizes that this is a case of ‘do as I say, not as I do.’ Gaga lets her fans know she does not want them to use drugs, saying: “I do not want my fans to ever emulate that or be that way.”

Gaga has said that she has had problems with drugs in the past, before she was famous. ast year, she told The Observer that she did “bags and bags of cocaine” as a struggling artist in New York, but quit after being confronted by her father. “I was able to stop, because I was panicking more on the drugs than I was sober,” she said last year. “So I’m fine now.”

However, it is hard to separate Stefani Germanotta from her alter ego, the carefully constructed Lady Gaga. Is this proof of Stefani’s occasional drug use? Or is this Lady Gaga keeping her image intact? Lady Gaga has made statements like “pop stars should not eat” and she will only appear in public wearing her outrageous, attention grabbing outfits. So is this real or illusion? Is this a pop star acting like a pop star or is it real? It’s impossible to tell with Gaga. She knows that and it’s part of why she is arguably most powerful pop star on the planet right now.

Lady Gaga also tells Vanity Fair that she is loney and celibate, claims she has made before. However, she has recently been seen on dates with her ex-boyfriend Luc Carl, as well as making out with a mystery woman on a boat a few months ago. Gaga also says:

“I’m drawn to bad romances. And my song [Bad Romance] is about whether I go after those [sorts of relationships] or if they find me.

“I have this weird thing that if I sleep with someone they’re going to take my creativity from me through my vagina.”

Which might be a reference to an ex-boyfriend who is suing Gaga, saying he helped construct her persona and make her famous and then she gave him the shaft.
