Michelle Rodriguez Ready To Play Femme, Tired Of Playing Butch

Apparently, Michelle Rodriguez is happy to be playing a sexier role for her part as Luz in the upcoming action-thriller Machete.  “You know what was amazing to me?  Finally not having a frickin’ cop outfit,” she said about her role in the movie.  “I’m so tired of these butchy polyester outfits.  It seems every time I do something I’m wearing some government outfit — it’s so annoying.  With the exception of Fast and the Furious, I’m always in uniform.  I’m always like, ‘Can I just get rid of this butch outfit and be hot for once?”

Of course, the fact that she looks incredibly sexy in one of those ‘butchy’ outfits seems to get lost on her.  Some women can look sexy in a potato sack.  One does have to point out that wearing leather outfits and cowboy hats is certainly not ‘femme’ either.

The thirty-two year old did lay down one condition for her new role, and that is she refused to expose her breasts on camera.  “That was one of my first conditions before we even started, ‘I’m not taking this off and you’re still interested [director] Robert [Rodriguez] , you can pay me’ — I’m joking.  But I understand why some did. I think it’s that some people have that Cleopatra appeal, some people have that warrior appeal, and some people have the mother appeal – whatever your power is as a woman, go for it! Run with it!” she said.

Of course, some women just chew up the scenery without the need to expose anything more than their face and hands.
