New Face on DADT- Breaking Video Katie Miller in Her own Words

Breaking News – Katie Miller will appear on Rachel Maddow tonight to talk about her decision to leave West Point, over the “Dont Ask Dont tell” policy that forces Gay and lesbian service members into the closet.

Miller, who is 9th in her class at West Point, is the West Point Cadet who because of DADT and its impact on her personally, is left with no choice but to turn her back on what could have been a remarkable future in the Military.

Miller has refused to sign the ten year contract required of Sophomores heading into the Junior year, that would committ her to the army for a ten year period. Her conscience, she says, will not allow her down this path for as long as DADT Policy is in place. She refuses to live as a soldier in the closet.
