Sex, Drugs, And Lesbian Kisses- The Furor Over Miley Cyrus, Demi Moore Movie Begins

“I met her in a club down in old Soho. . .” sorry, that’s the Kinks. Miley Cyrus, the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus, is starring in a new movie with Demi Moore. In the movie LOL: Laughing Out Loud, she plays a rebellious teen named Lola. So, how rebellious is the Lola? Well, she loses her virginity, talks about sex all the time, smokes pot, drinks heavily, and ends up accidentally showing her mom (Demi Moore) her Brazilian Wax.

Oh, and apparently there’s a couple of lesbian kisses involved in this as well.

Queue the slut shamming!

In truth, most teens lose their virginity by the time they are eighteen, and many talk about sex non-stop. As for the pot and drinking, that happens a lot too. Oh yes, and may girls to make out with other girls while they are young, especially in this day and age.

No one went after Matthew Broderick for Ferris Beuller or Tom Cruise for Risky Business or for that matter, any male star making the transition from teen heartthrob to star.

At one point, Demi Moore’s character tells Lola “You’re my daughter, and I won’t let you turn into a porn star!” According to Moore, though, Miley Cyrus “is a true professional, and she truly has a wonderful family. It really shows.”

As for the slut shaming, it has already begun. As per the source for much of this, “Good for Lola’s mom. Now why won’t Miley’s parents tell her the same thing? It doesn’t matter if it’s in film and fake. This is the image she’s presenting to her fans, and her parents should be ashamed of themselves for allowing Miley to take this kind of role. Now more than ever, Miley’s young fans that were instrumental in her rise to fame are being alienated by her adult career choices.”
