McCain, you should be ashamed of yourself! You’d think he would come forward and apologize for this and other disgusting incidents that have happened in his presence.
But, I guess that sums the man up………so-called military hero who turns out to be a homophobic coward!

I just wanted to clarify a couple of things: The vehicle was not backing up: rather it was exiting a gated news station and came straight through whether we were going to move or not…. It’s UNACCEPTABLE either way and it’s upsetting to know that political people can do this, get away with, that city police officers are able to determine intent and not allow me to press charges AND that the news channel can state I declined to comment though obviously from the video interview with THEIR cameraman, I had PLENTY to say…

]]> By: Trampas Graham http://lezgetreal.com/2010/09/dadt-protester-hit-by-john-mccains-car/comment-page-1/#comment-76834 Trampas Graham Mon, 27 Sep 2010 20:11:08 +0000 http://lezgetreal.com/?p=46723#comment-76834 I am speechless, and wonder about my own reasons for wanting to rationalize this, such as, “Maybe she wouldn’t get out of the way.”  The truth is, that doesn’t matter; McCain knew there were disabled vets in the crowd and backing into a crowd of protesters is inappropriate and aggressive, not to mention dangerous.  I am grateful to the protesters for their fearless courage; with many recent arrests and now this incident, I do not feel so alone in my outrage over many politicians’ flippant attitudes towards our civil rights.  And thank you for writing the article, as I’m sure it won’t be on CNN anytime soon.
