Palin Endorses Gay Innuendo Slinging, Anti-Solo Sex Delaware GOP Candidate

09/09/10-by Bridgette P. LaVictoire
Sarah Louise Heath Palin has endorsed the anti-LGBT, anti-abortion, anti-masturbation, anti-adultery candidate in the Republican primary in Delaware, Christine O’Donnell. Thus, Palin added to her list of straight, white, cisgender, affluent, “mama grizzlies”. Palin made the announcement on Sean Hannity’s radio program, a change of venue for Palin who usually announces these things on Facebook or Twitter. Well, someone does. Maybe a staffer.

O’Donnell is up against Mike Castle, whom her campaign has tried to paint as being gay. Currently, O’Donnell is behind in the polling, but given that it is one of those years where the polling trends will not be known until three or four days after the election is over, that may be worthless.

Palin said on Hannity’s show “Let me go ahead and endorse Christine O’Donnell because, Sean, she’s the conservative in the race. She is against Obama’s cap-and-tax scheme, she is against Obamacare, she is for the free market principles that need to get plugged in to put our economy back on the right track.”

Hannity then tweeted after he talked to Palin:

Thanks @SarahPalinUSA for the last minute call in. Endorsement of Christine O’Donnell was an exclusive. Said she hadn’t told Christine yet

And O’Donnell was happy to get the support and tweeted

@SarahPalinUSA’s endorsement brings an infusion of fresh energy. Help storm the Castle! http://www.tinyurl.com/stormcastle #DESEN #teaparty

Now that the twit-fest was over, it was time for Mike Castle to weigh in via more conventional means, his spokewoman Kate Dickins stated:

Tuesday’s primary will be decided by grassroots Republican voters here in Delaware, not out-of-state interest groups who are working to control the outcome. Mike Castle has overwhelming support from from respected conservative Delawareans, including former Gov. Pete DuPont and Judge Bill Lee, who know that Castle is the true fiscal conservative and the only candidate who can win this seat for Republicans in November.

Palin’s Facebook ghostwriter- she’s apparently way too busy to actually sit down and write these herself- explained the whole thing later:

The wave of positive change can really sweep across our land with the election of Constitutional Conservatives who promise to use common sense and rein in the federal government spending! Please support Christine O’Donnell in Delaware. She will support efforts for America’s energy security, patient-centered health care reform, cutting government waste, and letting the private sector thrive and prosper! We can’t afford “more of the same” in Washington. Christine will help usher in the real change we need to get America on the right track. Well, Tuesday is the big day, and it will be hard to tell what impact this has. So far, Palin has only managed to choose six winners out of fourteen endorsements.
