The Face of a Bigot: Clint McCance Pictured

Clint McCance, the School Board Member from Midland School District , Independence County, Arkansas  has angered America. Now not only his words but his face!  The one he though he could remove from the Public eye after being exposed as Americas number one BIGOT! This week anyway. The power of social media – Face Book.  It can bring a person down in less than a minute.  After McCance’s inflammatory anti-gay discussion The site “fire Clint McCance” acquired 36,000 “likes” (fans) in a 24 hour period.  This is a testament to changing times.

But what is changing?  Will the Bigots disappear entirely? Will they finally be educated and become ex-bigots? Will they find progressive society more deplorable than they already do, resenting that they cannot express their hate openly and freely?  Well there is no answer.

But there is hope; hope that people will see that so many Americans despise bigots – so many Americans support acceptance and equality, without fear;  regardless of religion and ideological differences, Gays, Lesbians and Transgender people ARE -you, me and us – and the only thing to fear about US is the fact that if we catch you spreading hate – we will expose it – and  that will change your life forever! Clint McCance’s life will never be the same.

I hope that if we cannot quell hate we can stop its spread; if people want to assert their constitutional right to say anything, regardless of their responsibility to society, that is their choice – at the same time I will exercise my constitutional right to speak freely about anything and everything that I can find in Clint’s Closet!
