Man Shoots Television Because Of Britol Palin’s DWTS Routine

Steven Cowan of Vermont, Wisconsin decided that he had had enough and blasted his television out of a sense of rage and anger over the appearance of Bristol Palin on “Dancing With The Stars.” Unfortunately, that shotgun blast led to an all-night standoff with a SWAT team, but the 67 year old Cowan was arrested the next day and accused of threatening his wife with the gun and for second-degree reckless endangerment. Bail was set for $1,500. According to his wife, Janice Cowan, Steven Cowan suffers from bipolar disorder and has threatened her life in the past.

According to his wife, via court documents, her husband came home from the bar, had a beer with dinner, and they settled down afterwards to watch DWTS. When Bristol Palin, daughter of Sarah Palin, began her routine, Cowan said to the effect “The (expletive) politics”. He was apparently upset that Ms Palin was on television despite not having any talent.

He then, apparently, left the room, returned twenty minutes later red faced and ‘raging’ and blasted the television. He then told her to fetch his pistols and threatened to kill himself if she brought anyone back. Cowan’s daughter apparently took his pistols recently for safekeeping, but no elaboration was forthcoming.

Janice fled the house and called the police. She has said that he was under stress lately due to financial reasons and that a doctor was helping him with his mental health problems.

Of course, Bristol Palin and her sister Willow recently made news by engaging in a flame war on Facebook where Willow Palin called someone a faggot.
