Trey Songz ‘Hot’ Over Gay Rumors

Singer Trey Songz wants you to know that when he sings “Bottoms Up” it’s only for the ladies. Gay rumors have followed Songz ever since he appeared on the scene and he had this to say about it on the radion station Power.
“Let them talk man. I remember the actual day [I found out]. I was with my manager and he was like, ‘You heard about this? We didn’t know that.’ I was hot about it because I love the ladies. What I’ve learnt in this business is that people will make up their own reality of whatever they want to. What I encourage my fans and people to do is… you can’t allow what someone else says to be your truth. Just because it’s written on an internet blog that has so many viewers or hits, it doesn’t make it true. I just keep living my life.” [Source]
I’ve written about the queer subtext in the lyrics of “Bottoms Up” before. It doesn’t help that bisexual rapper Nicki Minaj is featured on the track. If Trey Songz want everyone to think he’s straight, his next hit should NOT be “Where There’s Smoke.”

I actually never called anyone any names, but a career change is warranted…as this is not even original material. Its all for marketing and trying to make money on the ads from this post. What I’m saying is that although the post did its job by creating some form of controversy…it came at the expense of another human beings character and integrity; a person that’s working hard to secure a future for themselves. Its obvious that you don’t see the biased and condescending nature of this post…but maybey your one of those people that indulge in the misfortunes of others no matter the conseqences just to make people talk…ewww how childish and immaure. I would hope that were all adults here…

1) I didnt say Trey was gay. I honestly don’t care. There are rumors, I’m reporting on the rumors and why they exist. Was it mostly cut and paste? Yeah, because there’s not too much more to say. 2) Who the hell are you to tell me to change careers? I don’t know you and you don’t know me. Trey is a public figure, people talk about him. it helps him make money. 3) It’s not an insult to say someone is gay. I’m gay. This is a big gay website. I would like Trey better if he WAS gay. If you don’t like gay, take your ass off this big gay website. 4) You are the condescending one.

This post is so LAME. Natasia, you should be ashamed to even buy into this bogus shit. “Queer subtext”…seriously? Its people like you who thrive on the ignorance of one dimensional people for the sake of a story. You should consider changing careers, seeing as how this post is a simple copy and paste job. Lol, apparently you never heard of the term or saying “bottoms up” meaning.. to finish a substance or something.. to take a drink or substance to the head.. and in this case hes talking about alcohol but you are refering to “bottoms” as a position that someone likes to do in a sexual act which is real stupid, and quite frankly it makes your look more stupid. Your the hater hes talking about.. go live your life, go make money and get off your ass writing shit about someone whos trying to live their life.

Um….if Nicki isn’t bi she is formerly a lesbian. She has a video talking about her and the lesbian relationship with rapper Remi Ma. She was supposed to be openly bi but recanted mid last year, saying that she’ll only be bi for Cassie. So either she is lesbian, formerly lesbian, bisexual or formerly bisexual…or just simply confused.
