This video posted on Marines TV features Marine Commandant General James F. Amos and and Sergeant Major Carlton Kent discussing the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. This message is that the Marines will step out smartly when the order to fully repeal DADT is given. It is a far cry from the time that General Amos claimed that the repeal of DADT would result in Marines losing limbs and lives.

Hey, it’s Sergeant Major Kent, not Command Sergeant Major Hill! -50 points! Major error in fact! Ya gotta admit, Gen Amos did what he said he was going to do: “If the law changes, the Marine Corps will step out smartly to implement the new policy.”

Hey, who censored my comments?!?! And why does this headline still say Command Sergeant Major Hill, when it is Sergeant Major Kent in the video? Any why was my comment removed about for all the grief people have given Gen Amos, that they should now support him in this effort? Why?

William,
I removed one of your comments because it was a duplicate or appeared to be so. I corrected the title. I am not sure what is wrong on your end, but everything was corrected on this one, and no one censored any other comments.

Uh, it’s Sergeant Major Carlton Kent, the 16th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, not Command Sergeant Major Marvin Hill (command sergeant major is an Army billet, NOT MARINE!). Bridgette, you’d get -50 for a major error in fact in J-school for that one! Come on! The bottom line is that Gen Amos is putting his money where his mouth is on this issue, for all the grief people have given him for his stance, now they should recognize that he is doing the right thing and support that.

William,
I made the correction. When it gets passed 9pm my time, I tend to make more mistakes. BTW, thanks for the heads up on this one.
