Homophobe Huckabee Still Worried About The ‘Experiment’ Of Marriage Equality

02/26/11-by Bridgette P. LaVictoire
It should not be surprising that Michael Huckabee, the erstwhile FOX News analyst and former governor of Arkansas, thinks that same-sex marriage is little more than an experiment and that we have no idea what the effects that it will have on children will be. Of course, if he got his head out of that cavern he calls a backside and actually read the research, he might know that the problem for children with regards to same-sex marriage is that bigots like him believe that it is wrong and are doing everything that they possibly can to delegitimize their families.

Huckabee is probably running for President. He stated in this clip:

“I believe that we’re in denial about potential problems as we see more and more homosexual couples raising families. Essentially, these are experiments to see how well children will fare in such same-sex households. It will be years before we know whether or not our little guinea pigs turn out to be good at marriage and parenthood.”

It’s rather stunning he thinks that children are suddenly only now being raised by same-sex couples. That there aren’t, you know, plenty of people currently 20+ who were raised in same-sex and alternative households…

But he’s clearly not interested in reality anyway, so this is not all that surprising.

These people make up their so-called ‘evidence’ as they go along. They are willing to go as far as to outright lie rather than really try to find out what the truth is. People like Huckabee have an ulterior motive why they do what they do. His is that he wants that position of power. He, and others like him, will do whatever to get that position. They care no more about the people they say they want to protect than they do about the people they want to protect them from.
