Melanie Nathan- February 16-2011-
David Bahati invited me to Uganda; of course I could never go – it would be too dangerous – after all I am a lesbian who he wants to reform and G-d only knows what he has in mind for that; after all anything can be blamed on anyone when harm befalls an activist. But why would he really invite me to his country – “to see how safe and peaceful it is,” he asserted, the week before what promises to be a controversial Presidential elections in Uganda. Well yes it could all be staged. But now that illusion is well put to rest.
Why did he really invite me? To reform me- what better than the lesbian activist turned straight in Uganda? To put on a show so I could reverse all my writings about Uganda and its cruelty to gays, through a big “look its fabulous” apology?
Would I be the one to deliver a positive image of the country and Museveni regime?
Well one thing I know for sure it was not because he wanted me to see how badly gays were treated, but rather to see how badly gays were behaving – or so he said -”they are converting our children into homosexuality; I want you to come and see it for yourselves. In the schools – you will see it. They are trying to take all our children into homosexual lifestyle.”
Well, Mr. Bahati I really do not need to come to Uganda, to see just how big of a lie you propagate – when my fellow activist Mr. Scott Mills sets out the evidence in the documentary – part of which is revealed in the Video below. If this is the gay lifestyle in Uganda, dubbed “the worst place to be gay,” Who the hell would want it? Who wants to live in squalor and hiding and terror? Who in their right mind would want the Ugandan Gay Lifestyle? Do you really think that these poor people want another person in the one room shack – which already houses eight? Another mouth to feed while in hiding?
Mr. Bahati asked me if I knew that The Sexual Minorities group was receiving money to fund the so called recruitment. I now realize that if there is any ‘gay money” going to Uganda, and I hope there is, that it would be used to help Gays and lesbians and transgender people who are living in the Hell created by the Museveni Regime and perpetuated by people like David Bahati.
Mr. Bahati I suggest that before you resume your “Prayers for the repentance and reform of Melanie Nathan, Rachel Maddow and Scott Mills , ” that you pray for the suffering of your own people, gay or straight , so that they may be delivered from their hell on earth.
Scott Mills travels to Uganda where the death penalty could soon be introduced for being gay. The gay Radio 1 DJ finds out what it’s like to live in a society which persecutes people like him and meets those who are leading the hate campaign.
