Baltimore McDonalds Fires Employee Who Filmed Attack

4/23/11 – By Nicole Lamb

Vernon Hackett, the 22 year old McDonald’s employee responsible  for filming and posting online the video of the brutal attack of a trans woman on Monday, was fired for his actions according to a statement released by the franchise owner. In addition to posting the  video online, Hackett has also defended the attack and video on Twitter and Facebook by  calling the trans woman a man.

Mitchell McPherson, owner of the location, has also stated that action will be taken towards the other employees as warranted but there is no word as to what that may entail.

Vernon Hackett is a clearly a clown who had to learn about transgendered people the hard way.

Clearly, he is unaware of what the term “transgendered” means!

Way to end this sort of problem is to have individual unisex bathrooms. It’s tough enough being a woman and often having to wait on long lines while the mens room is empty. Potty parity!

Having been to McDonalds in Maryland (suburban DC), and seen the jerks and savages who work there,I think this was a racist attack more than a transgender attack. What I don’t understand is why 1000 police, attorneys, state employees, etc. have to “gather more evidence” before deciding to prosecute as a “hate crime.”

What will Eric Holder do? Absolutely nothing. His policy is not to file a “hate crime” when the attackers are black. And skin color trumps gender. Ditto Obama – more votes from blacks than transgenders.

Never mind that blacks can be guilty of hate crimes, too.

I see a big lawsuit coming up in the near future. this also goes back to the debate of which bathroom transgendered people should use.

I hope the person who was attacked brutally at your McDonalds location not only SUES YOUR STORE, BUT SUES MCDONALDS CORP. for not PROTECTING ITS CUSTOMERS DURING OPErATING HOURS. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AS A BUSINESS TO PROTECT YOUR CUSTOMERS AND YOU FAILED TO DO YOUR JOB.
