‘Demonbuster’ Kim Daniels Still In Running For Florida City Council Seat

Truth Wins Out issues a press release reporting that on May 17, there will be a voter runoff for a city council position in Jacksonville, Florida and that Kimberly Daniels; the Democratic candidate still has a chance at obtaining the coveted Florida seat. This is disconcerting to say the least, due to Daniels repeatedly making belittling comments concerning various religious and sexual minorities – leaving those to question, which political side is she truly on.

People for the American Way African American Ministers In Action Director, Leslie Watson Malachi issued a statement addressing Daniels’ candidacy:

“At African American Ministers in Action, our hope is that Americans will always have the opportunity to elect public officials who stand for respect and liberty, fairness and equality, and treat all people with the dignity that they deserve. We are disheartened by the advancement of a candidate who has instead chosen to be a voice of fear and intolerance. The people of Jacksonville deserve better.”

Daniels, better known as “Demonbuster” has a list full of attributes that would cause all that abhor the Tea Party, some concern. Daniels an ex-prostitute turned evangelical minister delivers sermons with her husband, Ardell in their “small” member church of 400,  Spoken Word Ministries. The duo also travels internationally, spouting “Christian” apostolic teachings via the Kimberly Daniels Ministry – such modesty.

At the same time, Daniels seems to tow far from the loving acceptance that God speaks of in the Bible. Daniels, who is also African-American, appears to mince no words as it pertains to her opinion, often coming out to slam issues surrounding race, religion, and sexual orientation. Not even President Obama is off limits, mainly because she doesn’t like him. “Even if someone gave me a billion dollars, I could not vote for Obama,” Daniels stated to Charisma magazine.

Unfortunately, she doesn’t stop there – Daniels also believes that her church was once haunted, the people in Haiti had it coming to them, and that Halloween candy is prayed over by witches – yet, even with all that, people still find her a suitable candidate for public office. Here is another example of Daniels, oh-so-loving- Christian ways:

“What black people need to do is get back what the devil has stolen from them, and stop making it worse by working with unrighteousness. The Bible says when you recognize a thief you can make him give it back seven times…

I thank God for slavery. Mmm. I thank God for the crack house. If it wasn’t for the crack house, come on somebody, God wouldn’t a never been able to use me how he can use me know. And if it wasn’t for slavery I might be somewhere in Africa worshiping a tree!

And you can talk about the Holocaust, but the Jews own everything! We go through some things, but let me tell you something – when you go through you qualify to get paid back. You don’t need the government to give it back, God’ll give it back.”

Not sure what the problem is, as of late with all these religious spokespeople using fear-mongering to manipulate people into believing their hate-filled rhetoric – let’s just hope the citizens of Jacksonville do their research prior to voting day in May.
