Bradlee Dean Sues Rachel Maddow, MSNBC

26 July 2011
by Bridgette P. LaVictoire

Bradlee Dean is a man who hates lesbians and gays with such a passion that he does not care to be bothered with the facts, the realities, or, for that matter, his own religious books. His You Can Run But You Cannot Hide International Inc (that is, his ministry is a corporation, that means he worships not God but the Dollar) is planning on suing MSNBC, Dr Rachel Maddow and others for, supposedly, defaming him. They are planning on holding a news conference where Dean will probably try to claim that all he wants to do is imprison lesbians and gays not execute them. The problem is his own words.

He is on record as having said:

“Muslims are calling for the executions of homosexuals in America. This just shows you they themselves are upholding the laws that are even in the Bible of the Judeo-Christian God, but they seem to be more moral than even the American Christians do, because these people are livid about enforcing their laws. They know homosexuality is an abomination.”

So, hmmm, Dean praises those Muslims who put lesbians and gays to death because they put lesbians and gays to death and seems to be more than willing to support the notion that homosexuality is an abomination.

Supposedly, Deah’s ministry is all about restoring morality and values to the nation’s youth. Those values appear to be racism, bigotry, misogyny, and homophobia since most of the nation’s youth are pretty unbiased people, by and large.

Of course, the people who announced this are all for Dean being an ass about things and have praised the man sixteen ways to Sunday. They wrote:

In the course of his ministry, Dean once made a statement on radio criticizing his fellow Christians for not taking a stronger stand about the gay rights lobby promoting homosexuality in the schools. He made a strong reference to Muslims taking the issue more seriously in the context of Shariah law, but did not condone their practices. It was Bradlee’s intent to focus attention on the issue, not to advocate harm to anyone.

Despite the very clear disclaimer by Bradlee Dean on his ministry’s website and elsewhere regarding the false accusation that he was calling for the execution of homosexuals, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow and others seized on and accused Dean on her show of supporting the killing of homosexuals, as is the practice in some radical Islamic countries. This seriously has harmed Dean and the ministry, who pride themselves on respect and love for all people.

Ah-HA! There it is- it is alright to praise those who kill people, but in no way does Dean himself kill people! Well, isn’t that special. Norway is currently mourning almost a hundred people who died because men like Dean praised those who murdered all the while claiming that they do not support what they are doing. In reality, people like Dean like to praise those who hate and call for the murder of others because they are too cowardly to actually say that for themselves and take the consequences.

The press release also says:

The lawsuit is filed by attorney Larry Klayman, the founder of Judicial Watch and Freedom Watch, in DC Superior Court and seeks in excess of $50 million in damages. However, money is not the issue. “This case is filed as a matter of principle,” stated Klayman. “We need more Bradlee Deans in the world and hateful left wing television commentators must be made to respect not only his mission but the law,” he added.

It is always funny how people who praise the murder and execution of lesbians and gays is ‘fighting the hateful left wing’, and the man who, pretty much, attacked everything to do with President Barack Obama without ever actually noticing just how racist he sounded. Dean is also associated with notoriously anti-LGBT Presidential contender Michele Bachmann who has been running away from the possibility that her husband is gay.

Of course, they are also love to ignore what Dr. Maddow actually said on her show. It would be a good idea if, before you go on your little crusade against windmills, it would be a good idea to actually check on what she said. It is still available online:

Here are some clips of Dean’s rants. Now, here is the thing, Dr. Maddow did not say that Dean wanted to execute lesbians and gays, so, this lawsuit is one of those frivolous ones that Conservatives are always whining about and crying over.

I love Rachel, and I love lesbians, having said that, I have to say that I hate people like Bradlee who seem to have to make others feel bad in order to make themselves feel superior; for whatever reason. Perhaps Bradlee is fighting his own homosexual urges and is seeking help from “god” or maybe he’s just the biggest A$$Hole in America today; well maybe not the biggest, but certainly among the top ten. I appreciate your website and for keeping this thing real, keep up the fight, and let me know what I can do to help out a fellow PhD. Go Rachel!

This is going absolutely nowhere. This is a publicity stunt by an Axl Rose wannabe. Showing a video and reading the dude’s disclaimer is not defamation of character. That’s what happens when this douche’ nozzle opens his hateful piehole. The fright wing media is all aglow, but they’re not showing the video or reporting that she did indeed read the disclaimer on his website. George Tiller’s the guy that should’ve filed a defamation of character suit against O’Lielly, but it’s too late now since he’s now dead!

You forgot to mention his whole statement… Lez get real Bridgette!!

“Muslims are calling for the execution for homosexuals in America, this was just released yesterday and it shows you that they themselves are upholding the laws that are even in the Bible, the Judeo Christian God. They seem to be more moral than even the American Christians do. Because these people are livid about enforcing their laws, they know homosexuality is an abomination. And I continually reach out to the homosexual communities on this radio show, and I warn them, which ones love? Here you have Obama condemning it behind the backs of the homosexuals but to their faces he’s promoting it. I say this to my gay friends out there the ones that continuously nitpick everything I say. Hollywood is promoting immorality and the God of the Heavens in Jesus names is warning you to flee from the wrath to come, yet you have Muslims calling for your execution. If America won’t enforce the laws, God will raise up a foreign enemy to do just that’s what you’re seeing in America today. Read Leviticus 26 America.”

And his whole statement makes it that much better! Not really. In fact, it just shows how much worse he is. Besides, the whole thing is in the clip from Maddow.

Thank you for giving us the whole clip- he is still praising the murder of lesbians and gays, and saying that if we don’t do the same thing according to the Bible the US will be destroyed. Sorry, bub, but this man hates lesbians and gays and the full quote just doesn’t help out much.

This is a great post. Thanks for this. I know Rachel will handle this ridiculous mess with grace and smarts.
