Rutland Vermont Halloween Parade Postponed

The Rutland City Recreation Department has announced that the annual Halloween Parade has been postponed until Monday, October 31st, due to the snowstorm headed our way.

Personally, I think the Goddess just really wants it on Halloween, not the “Last Saturday in October”… like Samhain can be rescheduled for humanity’s convenience. Right.

In related news, Killington Ski Area opened for the season today. There is just something slightly obscene about waxing your board before you’re done raking your leaves. Ah, well, maybe this foretells a good ski season. We shall see.

Have a Happy Halloween and a Blessed Samhain.
