Wisconsin Recall Effort Turns In One Million Signatures

Attorney Jeremy Levinson and Democratic Party Chair Mike Tate announcing recall signatures.

They only needed a bit over half a million. They wanted three-quarters of a million to be safe in case of challenges. Today, the recall organizers in Wisconsin turned in one million petition signatures to force a recall election of Governor Scott Walker and Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch.

Walker, by the way, was not in Wisconsin today. He was fundraising in New York City. New York City? Just who would he be collecting funds from if he’s in New York City?

Congratulations to all who worked on this effort. Well done. Now, on to the election.

So, who’s running against him?
