A Curious Dairy Cow

In Brush, Colorado a local McDonalds was very surprised when they found a cow standing in their drive-thru on Friday. Apparently Darcy, the cow in question, just wanted some attention. That’s what her owner, Sandy Winn, said was the reason Darcy wandered from her pen and ended up at the drive-thru window of the fast-food restaurant a half-mile away.

Winn told local news station, KUSA-TV (http://on9news.tv/JDk30A ), that Darcy is a good cow until she’s bored — and then she goes looking for attention. Winn says she didn’t know Darcy had escaped her pen until police called asking if the family owned a dairy cow. She says they told her it was “up at McDonalds,” so she fetched the cow and took her home. Darcy definitely got the attention she was looking for.
