As a child I was raised to believe in super-heroes, faeries, trolls, elves, pixies, goblins and dragons. As an adult I’ve bonded to the symbology of the dragon in all it’s forms. I have two tattoos of dragons and have a nickname to go along with them.
When my son was born I was thrilled that he was born in a time of revolution and an era where super-heroes are real (even though they are just exceptional people with no super powers). I had never truly thought that I would live in a time where I would ever see a real, living dragon. Until now…
Researchers in Indonesia have recently discovered what looks like an itty-bitty, teeny-tiny, gecko-like, winged dragon. The picture is of a nesting female found in the Lambsuango Forest Reserve and was immediately released after this photograph was taken so not to harm it. The implications of this find are immeasurable to the Scientific Community.
So now when people tell you that dragons aren’t real, you can shove it in their faces that they actually exist. YAY!
